About Dr. Vanderford

Dr. Vanderford graduated from the University of California, Riverside in 1993 having majored in psychobiology and went on to study chiropractic at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC). He received his doctor of chiropractic degree in 1997. He then went on to complete a diagnostic imaging residency in 2000. In the final year of his residency training, Dr. Vanderford earned his diplomate in radiology becoming a board certified chiropractic radiologist (DACBR). Since completing his training, Dr. Vanderford has practiced chiropractic, taught students at chiropractic colleges and continuing education lectures for practicing chiropractors. He has interpreted radiology studies for southern California imaging centers, and performed utilization review for insurance companies.

His passion has always been for providing hands-on care for those seeking a compassionate non-invasive method for dealing with pain and improving health. Dr. Vanderford believes in providing effective spinal manipulative therapy in combination with other proven low tech methods to help others achieve their goals and autonomy.

He retains his professional interest in diagnostic imaging, and expanding his knowledge in the areas of low tech rehabilitation and whole food nutrition.

He is married to his amazing wife Darla, who is also a chiropractor, with whom he has a wonderful little girl. He enjoys the practice of martial arts, board games, movies and reading.
